The programs make Cibolo Creek Elementary a very special place and provide our children with more opportunities to learn. It also make school fun and memorable.
John F. Kennedy said it best when he said, “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.”
Consider joining the PTO or renewing your membership. Whether you are giving of your time or treasure, it makes a big difference in the educational experience of our children. Volunteering is also very rewarding. You see joy, excitement,pride, delight, and wonder all over our campus.

The PTO organizes the room parent for each class. The room parent helps organize class parties and classroom volunteers.
The PTO volunteers creates a yearbook full of memories for the students at CCES.
A family event that highlights the fun side of science. Children aged Kinder through 6th Grade are encouraged to enter a project in the science fair. It can be a family project. It helps instill a love of science and gives the kids several rehearsals before they are required to submit a science fair project. It is an exciting night and the projects are quite impressive. Each child is given a participation award.
This year the PTO collected $1789 in Box Tops and Campbell’s Labels for Education. That is a ton of box tops and labels.
LET'S READ TOGETHER
A program for Kindergarten and 1st Grade that recognizes and encourages reading outside of school. For every ten books the child reads or has read to them they get a ribbon and small prize.
TAKE IT OUTSIDE
A program to improve the outdoor areas at Cibolo Creek. To date, the PTO has installed a frisbee golf course, a ½ sport court outside the gymnasium with new sidewalks to access the court and fencing surrounding the area, new sidewalks to access the kinder and 1st grade playground. A volleyball court is currently in the bidding process and will be installed over the summer or early next fall.
PTO helps in sponsoring many educational trip for different grades through out the years.
Digital Theater Arts is an extra-curricular activity that incoming 6th graders have the opportunity to try out for. This program
allows students to demonstrate their writing, acting, technological and photographic creativity. The students who participate in Digital
Theater Arts will film and produce videos of special events at CCES. They are also members of KCUB, which will be our live
announcements by the end of this month! The dream to have live announcements every morning is coming true thanks to Michael
Kornet and NewTek, for donating a TriCaster and all necessary training to CCES. The PTO has also provided almost $5000 worth of
equipment to assist the students in their KCUB production. CCES students are so fortunate to have top-notch technology as they learn
about producing a live broadcast.
Four times a year the PTO provides with a meal to the teachers to show how much we value them and their service to our children and CCES. The teacher and staff are also recognized on their birthdays with a special lunch and at Thanksgiving with a pie.
A program for 2nd -6th Grade that recognizes and encourages reading outside of school. The student earn points for reading books and is able to “purchase” items at the AR Store with the points they accumulate over the course of the school year.
BIKE RODEO AND HEALTH FAIR
A day of camps that cover physical fitness, nutrition, and overall well being all brought together with a festival like environment that includes bringing your bike to school for a bike rodeo. It is a fun day no doubt. Let’s Rodeo Cibolo.
The PTO in collaboration with The Salvation Army hosted an Angel Tree over the Christmas season. An Angel Tree provides gifts to those less fortunate individuals in the community. CCES PTO also contributes to the Boerne Education Foundation Rock on Gala.
The PTO organizes a group of volunteers to help in the workroom copying assignments, laminating items, and any other tasks that assist the teachers.
The PTO sets aside fund to help the administration with the costs of school supplies in the final months of the school year in case need arises. Fortunately the funds were not needed this fiscal year.
